This nice ranch which is about 50 miles west of Amarillo and 5 miles south of IH 40 contains approximately 1408 acres of native grassland, 1103 acres of CRP and 216 acres of farm land (labeled grass on the FSA aerial photos). 965 acres of the CRP are enrolled until September 30, 2012 at an annual rental rate of $43.36 (407.7 acres) or $43.96 (557.5 acres) per acre and 138 acres are enrolled until September 30, 2019 for an annual rental rate of $35.90 per acre. The ranch has excellent fencing, is well watered and has outstanding cattle working facilities.

The headquarters has a large set of steel cattle pens with loading chute, a new curved alley way and hydraulic chute inside of a barn and an electronic cattle scale. There are two water wells with 1½ hp submersible motors and pumps and pressure tanks connected to approximately 8,000 ft of buried plastic pipeline that supply over 15 waters distributed across the ranch. There are approximately 26 miles of perimeter and interior fencing including 13 miles that were built new in 2009. Most of the fencing is 5-strand barbed wire with a combination of steel and cedar posts. The ranch is divided into many pastures and has a number of large traps near headquarters.

The ranch is relatively level with one draw running from its west side and emptying into a large playa lake on its east side. The ranch is at the end of a county road about two miles from FM 2858. There are no other roads through or next to the ranch. Mule deer and antelope are common in this area. An adjoining section that has 509.5 acres of CRP enrolled until 2019 is also available. Wind energy companies have showed a high level of interest in this area.
