This nice section of grassland is just north of Lake McKenzie in Briscoe County. The northeast quarter is still considered farmland but has not been plowed for several years and has scattered small mesquites. There are two windmills with large drinking tubs on the west half section. There is barbed-wire perimeter and cross fencing with mostly cedar post that is in need of repair. Cope Creek which is a wet weather creek and a major source of water for Lake McKenzie runs through the property. There is an old caliche pit on the property that is still used occasionally.
